Why not have a Summer atmosphere all year round in our interior? Mission accomplished. I was happy to undertake this lovely project for a young couple with two children; the complete redesign of the ground floor of their first home in London with a cheerful and fresh vibe. We played with colours - green, blue and powder pink - and introduced a statement wallpaper with palm trees for the dining area, Morrocan 'Zellige' tiles detailing for the kitchen splashback and some pretty light fittings. A fire-rated fixed window was implemented between the two rooms to bring more natural light into the North-facing living room. Since my client, a yoga teacher often works from home, I designed a functional desk area that she is not willing to share with anyone.
