Why not bring a touch of summer into our interiors all year round? Mission accomplished. I was delighted to take on this lovely project for a young couple with two children — a complete redesign of the ground floor of their first London home, filled with a cheerful and fresh vibe. We played with colours — green, blue, and powder pink — and added character through a statement palm-tree wallpaper in the dining area, Moroccan Zellige tile detailing for the kitchen splashback, and a selection of pretty light fittings. A fire-rated fixed window was added between the two rooms to let more natural light into the north-facing living room. And since my client, a yoga teacher, often works from home, I designed a functional desk area that she isn’t willing to share with anyone!  Photo credit Veronica Rodriguez.
