My clients wanted a "happy home; warm, bright and cosy". This "Lion House" located in the Peterborough Estate in Fulham had to be family-friendly, practical with plenty of storage and easy to live in with three young children. The kitchen was extended to the back and a 'Crittall' style fixed panel now separates the entrance from the living room to maximise the light. Downstairs, the basement was significantly increased to create a spacious and bright family/media room as well as a guest room, utility room and bathroom. I reworked the internal layout, advised on materials, colours, lighting layout and light fittings, and designed two new bathrooms and bespoke joinery throughout.
